Emre Can lambasts Mourinho over Schweinsteiger treatment

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has accused Jose Mourinho of poorly treating his former country team mate, Bastain Schweinsteiger.Can also got on the score sheet after Liverpool mulled Watford at Anfield 6-1 on Sunday to go top of the league table.

Meanwhile, Schweinsteiger is yet to feature for Manchester United this season despite being recalled back to the team by Mourinho.

Can said, “I know Schweinsteiger very well. I used to play with him. He’s a very good guy and he’s a legend.
“I don’t know what happened there. I think they don’t have too much respect for him.

“It’s a pity because he’s a very good guy. He’s always somebody who works hard and is always a gentleman, always a true guy.

“When I came up to the first team he was the first one who came to me and said, ‘If you need something come to me.’

“It was a big help for me and I’m very thankful for that. I will never forget it.”
