Conte sends sympathy message to Mason after collusion with Cahill



Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte has sent a message to Hull City midfielder Ryan Mason after he was sent to hospital due to clash of heads with Gary Cahill.

Chelsea took on struggling Hull City, as the Blues ran out 2-0 winners at Stamford Bridge.

The former Tottenham player was stretchered off in eight minute stoppage and replaced by David Meyler in the first half.

"First of all, everyone at Chelsea wants to wish [Mason] the best," Conte said at the news conference.

"It was a bad accident with Gary. After the first half, it wasn't really good with Gary, but we decided to continue with him.

"It was very bad, this accident. Everyone at Chelsea hopes to see [Mason] recovered and on the pitch very soon.”
