Educationalist, novelist, and dramatist, Elechi. Amadi has passed on.
The Library icon died today at an hospital in Port Harcourt.
Elechi Amadi was among the first generation of African writers and novelists.
His notable works are: The Concubine(1966),The Great Ponds(1969), and The Slave(1978).
He passed on at age 82.
