Sinan Gumus equalised in the 22nd minutes after Sneijder free kick. And just before half time, Galatasaray went ahead with 1-2 courtsey Bruma.
In the 55th and 59th minutes, captain Wayne Rooney added his brace before Fellaini made it four on the 62nd minutes.
Juan Mata sealed the comprehensive victory to make it five on the 75th minutes.
