Congolese singer, Koffi Olumide has been hit with 18 months jail time.
The Makossa singer was deported at the weekend from Nairobi, Kenya after he was caught assaulting one of his female dancers identified as Pamela.
According to The Star, Koffi Olumide was arrested as ordered by the court when he got back to his country. His lawyer did pleaded not guilty stating his client was roughly handled by the police, but all his allegations didn't stop the judge from pronouncing a jail sentence for the 58 years old.
