Former Arsenal captain Arteta joins Man City coaching crew


Former Arsenal captain has joined Manchester City coaching crew.


Mikel Arteta retired from football at age 34 years and decided to join his former manager Pep Guardiola at Etihad to take up a coaching role.

Arteta made 150 appearances for Arsenal and scored 17 goals, won two FA Cups.

He spent six years at Everton before he joined Arsenal in 2011 for a fee of £10m.

According to Mikel Arteta,"I have always been interested in more than just the playing side."
