Manchester City changes club emblem

 Manchester City officially announced the change of their emblem.
The club crest which is the Eagles badge since 1997 as been changed and will be in the club home kit for the forthcoming season.

Manchester City are set to unveil the club home kit on Sunday as over 20,000 will be present alongside chief executive Ferran Soriano.

Also new coach Pep Guardiola will be unveiled for the first time.

According to the Club's chief executive:

 "At Manchester City, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter in our history and we wanted to create an event that would allow thousands of fans to celebrate and participate in this, both here in Manchester and around the world.

“The Cityzens Weekend will provide the perfect setting for fans to welcome our new manager, Pep Guardiola, to the club and see the new kit and badge come to life across the Etihad Campus.

"We look forward to welcoming fans over the weekend and entering this new era together.”
