According to reports form Daily post, the Mega School in Ondo state today, Monday, July 25, were locked up by staffs of the schools.
St Francis Caring Heart Mega School, Owaluwa in Owo,Ondo State was,shut down by the non teaching staffs due to unpaid salaries for 13 months.
According to our sources, the staff started the peaceful protest at around 7:30am and the gates and other offices of the school were locked which prevent pupils from entering the school.
The non teaching staffs had placards with displays ; “Gov Mimiko pay our money, ‘ We are starving,’ We have children too” and several others.
The Ministry of Education of Ondo state is yet to speak on the matter.
