UEFA Sanctions Liverpool and Sevilla after Final show down

The European governing football body, UEFA has sanctioned Europa League champions and Premiership club side.


Liverpool and Sevilla met at the Europa League final in Istanbul on May 18.

Liverpool have been fined €16,000 for an "illicit banner and the setting off of fireworks". And Sevilla have been fined €17,000 for crowd unrest and throwing of objects on the pitch.
