Earlier today, an ambassadorial nominee, who goes by the name, Alhaji Ibrahim Bida, hails from Niger state failed to recite the Nigeria National anthem when asked to do so by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs.
This made the entire eight man Committee including its Chairman, Senator Munsirat Sunmonu to burst into laughter, until James Manager intervened to help Alhaji Bida complete the anthem.
According to our sources, Alhaji Bida was among the 47 ambassadorial nominees currently being screened by the Senate Committee.
Bida introduced himself but was lost of words when he got to the point of reciting the national pledge.
