The man (name with held) was said to be a policeman and the woman,Ifeoma, was a member of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Anambra State.
The woman, Ifeoma, is a mother of five children and the deceased man is a policeman, a father of three children, were found dead in the policeman room at Ezinifite Okpuno, Awka-South Local Government, Anambra State.
According to reports, the deceased man's lover leaves in Akwa, Anambra while his family leaves in Lagos
The deceased woman told her husband she was going for a vigil.
The state Police Public Relations Office, ASP Nkeiru Nwode, confirmed the incident after he told newsmen that ; “With due respect, the man in question is not a member of the Nigeria Police Force and the woman’s identity is yet to be ascertained.
“I have not yet been fully briefed on the story. As soon as I get the details, I will communicate with you, please.”
