Yesterday, three suspected robbers attacked a police man at Okunola Road, Lagos.
The inspector who was not on uniform, was coming from the bank in early hours of the morning was shot by the robbers.
According to report from Punch, two of the armed robbers where killed in a shoot out by the police patrol team of the Anti-Pipeline Vandalism Intelligence Unit.
Luckily, the inspector was not killed but injured as he was rushed to the general hospital while robbers arrested where taken to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.
The police recovered some pistols and other valuables from the robbers.
