WhatsApp will cease to work from December 31,2016 on the following mobile phones:

• BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
• Nokia S40
• Nokia Symbian S60
• Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
• Windows Phone 7.1
• iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

*crying* I am sorry to break this news to you WhatsApp fans.

But if you want to still enable your chatting application, you can upgrade to the following IS depending on your type of phone.

• OS 2.3+
• Windows Phone 8+
• iPhone  iOS 7+
