Sunshine Stars face sanctions over crowd trouble

NPFL side, Sunshine Stars set to face severe sanctions from the League Management Company, LMC, due to crowd trouble during their Match Day 33 game against Heartland at the Akure Township Stadium on Sunday.



The crowd unrest by the home fans stated after the visitors took the lead late in the second half of the match.

An Heartland player was injured in the process but was taken to the hospital for treatment.
