Cote d’Ivoire international/Paris Saint-Germain defender, Serge Aurier, has been sentenced to two months in prison.
The defender violently assaulted a police officer in the capital city of Paris back in May 30, 2016.
According to the Sun, he was handed a £521 fine and ordered to pay £1,300 in court costs.
Although, the sentence is a ‘convertible’ one, the 23-year-old will perform community service rather than spend time in prison.
The player is entitled to appeal the sentence.
