Breaking Gist: Rangers are NPFL champions for 2015/2016 season

The Flying Antelopes have been crowned the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, champions for the 2015/2016 season. Enugu Rangers waited for 32 years to lift the title in front of their home fans at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.



Rangers defeated El Kanemi Warriors 4-0 to finish with 63 points out of 36 matches.

Enugu Rangers won 18 matches, drew 9 and lost 9.

Second spot was Rivers United with 60 points, while Wikki Tourist ended in third with 57 points.
