Mrs Magaret Emefiele, who is the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been rescued from kidnappers.
360 GP understands that the Inspector General of Police’s Special Intelligence Monitoring Team, headed by Abba Kyari, was mandated to ensure the CBN Governor's wife was rescue.
Recall that Mrs Margaret was abducted alongside her driver and two other women on Thursday at the Benin-Agbor Expressway by heavily armed gunmen.
According to Eagle Online reports,a combined security team rescued Mrs Magaret at about 12:30am on Saturday.
Margaret has been moved to Asaba, the Delta State.
She had boarded a flight from Abuja and landed at the Benin Airport in Edo State from where she left for Agbor by road.
It was gathered that the hoodlums intercepted her SUV and shot at she her entourage who attempted to stop the abduction.
