Rangers of Enugu were crowned champions after 32 years in front of their home fans after a convincing 4-0 victory over El Kanemi.

Meanwhile, Rivers United came second as they defeated home side Awka United.

The defending champions, Enyimba ended the season in 10th

Heartland of Owerri 1-1 draw at home against Plateau saw them escape relegation to the Nigeria National League, NNL.

Elsewhere, despite Warri Wolves defeating Lagos base club Ikorodu United, both sides still ended being relegation as the finished in 18th and 19th respectively.
