World Cup 2018 Qualifiers: Rohr invites Iwobi, Iheanacho, 22 others for Algeria

The Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, has called up 24 players for Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup qualifying game against Algeria next month.
Arsenal and Manchester City Starlets Alex Iwobi and Kelechi Iheanacho alongside Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi got the call up. Also, Ahmed Musa of Leicester City and Brown Ideye of Olympiacos made the list.


The German has recalled Watford striker Ighalo who missed the Zambia match after he was absent due to his father burial.


John Ogu and Etebo Oghenekaro were also handed a recall.


The game is scheduled for November 12, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
