360 GP has learnt that Boko Haram have reportedly killed another Army Commanding officer, Lieutenant Colonel, B.U. Umar.
Umar, a commanding officer of 114 TF battalion of the Nigerian Army was ambushed alongside his troops on Monday between Bita and Piridang.
It was reported that the incident took place while the troops were on their way to Yola in Adamawa State from Bita in Borno State.
While Umar and his men were travelling, it was said to have stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device, IEDs, and when he stepped out to access the damage, the insurgent opened fire on him, killing him in the process.
