One plane that was carrying 81 people, which included a top Brazilian football team, reportedly crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin in Colombia, BBC reports.
According to Colombia's civil aviation body, only six people survived the crash, as the crash was blamed on an electrical fault.
360 GP learnt that the chartered aircraft was flying from Brazil via Bolivia carrying members of the Chapecoense team.
The team was scheduled in the final of the Copa Sudamericana, against Medellin team Atletico Nacional.
Meanwhile, the Organisers say Atletico Nacional has asked for Chapecoense to be awarded the cup.
According to an official statement by Fox Sports Latin America stated that six employees from its Brazil operation died in the crash.
