FA charges Mourinho over ‘abusive’ comment on referee, Clattenburg

The Portuguese, Jose Mourinho, has been charged with misconduct by the English Football Association, FA, over an abusive comment on referee, Mark Clattenburg, during Saturday’s 0-0 draw against Burnley at the weekend.An official statement from the FA said, “It is alleged that in or around the tunnel area at half-time he used abusive and/or insulting words towards a Match Official.”


Jose Mourinho has been given until Friday evening to respond to the charge.
