Militants blow up another pipeline in Niger Delta

On Sunday, unknown militants forces blew up another pipeline in Niger Delta region, Daily Post reported.



It was learnt that the pipeline was operated by the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC in Delta State.

Ughelli South council Chairman, Mr Paul Etaga confirmed the attack to Vanguard.

He narrated that pipeline popularly called Abura line, was bombed at about 7:30am on Sunday morning.

Etaga added that he visited the site of the incident in company of the Commanding Officer 222 battalion, Agbaraha-Otor, Lt. Col U. S Abdulsalam, the Ughelli South Division Police Officer, Oghenedoro Samuel and heads of other security agencies in the area visited the scene of the blast.
