Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has announced the suspension of the new tariff for data services by mobile operators in Nigeria.
Recap that some service providers had recently issued statements to subscribers through customised Short Messaging Services, SMS, informing it's subscribers of the plans to increase tariffs on all mobile data purchased, with effect from Thursday, 1st December, 2016.
Although, the service providers claims that the development was not unconnected with the new guidelines by the NCC.
