12 children stolen from IDPs camps reunites with their parents



According to the Guardian, 12 children, of ages range between 4 and 14, last year November, who were kidnapped from one of the IDPs camps in Gassol Local Council, Taraba State, by a child theft have been reunited with their families.

The suspect was arrested. He is being detained, 360 GP has learnt.

He was said to have disappeared with children in IDPs across Nigeria without the knowledge of their parents and the management of the camps.

The children were rescued by the Nasarawa State Police Command.

The state's Nasarawa spokesman, Idrisu Kennedy, disclosed that they were able to rescue the children following a tip off from some good Samaritans.

The children were later handed over to their biological parents.

He continued that the suspect came in disguise as religious preacher, lured them from their various places in the camp.
