National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), arrested one 47 years old textile merchant with 4.4kgs of methamphetamine worth $1.4miilion.
He was nabbed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on his way to Cambodia.
It was learnt that the 40 parcels of drugs, was concealed inside foodstuff, as was detected during the outward screening of passengers on an Ethiopian Airline flight, 360 GP gathered.
Ifeka Charles Obi, hails from Oba Idemili South LGA of Anambra State, said he was promised N1m by his “sponsors”.
According to him, it's his first attempt at smuggling drugs.
