According to the Punch, Nasarawa State Police Command has dragged the National Vice Chairman of the APC, North Central Zone, Zakari Idde, to the state High Court in Lafia for alleged involvement in the murder of a Chinese miner.
It was reported that others involved are his police orderly and two other persons.
Idde was charged alongside nine other people.
According to the police, the suspects ambushed and killed a Chinese national and three others at Wugibi Hills in the Alogani, Nasarawa Eggon, late last year.
The state commissioner of police, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq-Bello, has disclosed that Idde was among the prime suspects in the murder.
