Busquets stretched off against Eibar due to ankle injury

Sergio Busquets was stretchered off with a serious-looking ankle injury in Sunday Barcelona away clash to Eibar.

The midfielder lasted only eight minutes on the field of played due to a late challenge from Gonzalez Escalante.

Although, Sergio was pictured in some distress before been stretched off and being replaced by Denis Suarez.

The Eibar player, Escalante escaped sanction for the tackle.

The club has confirmed after the match that the midfielder has strained ankle ligaments and would be sent for more tests on Monday, January 23rd.
