Onyebuchi Chika, who happened to be a member of a notorious robbery gang that has been terrorising students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has been arrested.
It was learnt that a sewing machine, some cooking gas and mattresses, were recovered from him.
Chika allegedly broke into the students’ apartments around Awa Ijebu and its environmental sanitation during the weekend, where he stole away some properties of those who had travelled for Christmas.
He reportedly came back to carry out the criminal act before nemesis caught up with him after a male student, who was returning from an outing, raised alarm.
Chika admitted to have burgled several apartments in the area
