18 years old Daughter of a Ghanaian Politician Commits Suicide After Allegedly Failing a Course in School



The daughter of Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi, an NPP Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem central constituency, Adwoa Agyarkwa, has reportedly committed suicide.

The 18 -year-old girl, who is first-year Chemical Engineering student, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), was found dead on Friday morning in her hostel room with a rope hanging around her neck, 360 GP gathered.

Meanwhile, the cause of her death is yet to be confirmed, but sources at KNUST campus says she failed one of her courses and couldn’t bear the shame.

Before she committed the act, she was said to have left a suicide note, saying: ‘am sorry to disappoint you mummy and daddy’.

It has been reported that her body has been deposited at a mortuary in Kumasi, Ghana.
