Yaya Toure returns to City squad for Champions League as Ihenancho misses out



Yaya Toure has been included in the Champions League squad for Manchester City.

The Ivorian seems to have earned his place back in the City squad after been snubbed by manager Pep Guardiola.

New kid on the block, Gabriel Jesus also got his name included as part of the Manchester City attackers.

Yaya and Gabriel both got a goal each in Manchester City 0 vs 4 hammering of West Ham on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Ilkay Gundogan is one of the City players that have been omitted from the squad,the midfielder continuing his recovery from a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Also, Super Eagles forward Kelechi Ihenancho was also omitted despite making the list the group stage of the competition.

Manchester City are set to face Monaco in the round of 16 as the Champions League resumes in February.
