Chelsea over came a resilient Southampton team at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Eden Hazard slotted a pass from Diego Costa to put the Blues in front before former Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu, levelled in 24th minutes.
Just before the ref Lee Mason blew the whistle for half time, Gary Cahill headed home a corner kick.
Diego Costa who hasn't found the back of the net for Chelsea in the last three games got a brace.
Another former Chelsea full back, Ryan Bertrand got a consolation goal in the injury time
