Kalu Uche scored his first goal as they secured a 2-1 home win against Sevilla Atletico on Sunday.
The 34-year-old came on as a substitute in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Cordoba.
The Nigerian forward manager Luis Miguel Ramis handed him a starting, and he repaid the favour by scoring in the 25th minute.
Fidel Chaves struck the second goal for the hosts, as Jose Angel Carrillo got the consolation for Sevilla Atletico in the last minute of the game.
Despite winning, Uche’s team remain in the relegation zone with 39 points from 25 games.
Almeria travel to Estadio Manuel Valero on April 29 to face Elche.
