It has been alleged by sources that business man, Lanre Gentry was married to Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akinsanya before he impregnated Mercy Aigbe.
According to SPY NIGERIA, Lanre Gentry was married to an Igbo man and had a daughter for him.
It said that the marriage didn't last as it crashed few years later.
Mercy Aigbe was later called a husband snatcher after she got pregnant for Lanre Gentry who was at the time married to Bimbo Akinsanya.
Meanwhile, Mercy and Lanre got married at the Ikoyi Registry in 2013.
In 2011 Mercy Aigbe said in an interview: “THERE IS NO PROBLEM BECAUSE MY IYALE (FIRST WIFE) BIMBO AKINSANYA DOESN’T EVEN LIVE IN NIGERIA. Movie actress, Bimbo Akinsanya decided to move on with her life, after Mercy snatched her man.
Bimbo later remarried a few years later to Ayoola Adewale and welcomed her first child in June 2015; few months after her wedding.
