Real Madrid close rivals Barcelona took to their twitter account to congratulate the Los Blancos .
Zinedine Zidane made his history on Saturday with Real Madrid after thrashing Juventus to lift the UEFA champions League for the 12th time.
Madrid became the first club to win back to back of the European trophy in the modern day era.
Barca wrote on twitter: "Congratulations @realmadrid for winning the trophy in Cardiff".
Real Madrid will now face Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup.
The Los Blancos will also go head-to-head with Barcelona in the two-legged Supercopa in August.
