CAF Confederation Cup: Kampala CCA 2 vs 1 Rivers United | Nsibambi Brace Condemns Rivers

Nigerian Professional Football league side, Rivers United were defeated by Kampala 2-1 at The Phillip Omondi Stadium on Saturday.

Rivers travelled away I'm their third fixture of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Kampala CCA went ahead after 15 minutes as Derrick Nsibambi struck to give KCCA the lead.

The NPFL club side levelled in the 33 minutes after Sakin volleyed the ball into the net following an assist by John Odumegwu.

Rivers United looked like they were going to pick a point away from Uganda.

With 29 minutes left to play, a defensive error saw Nsibambi score the winner to make it his second on the day.

As it stands, as all the clubs in Group A have played three games, FUS Rabat and Kampala have six points each, while Club Africain and RIVERS UTD have three points each.
