Emenike Ends 7 Months Of Goal Drought Against Adanaspor

Nigerian striker, Emmanuel Emenike found the back of the net in Fenerbahce ’s 3-1 away win over Adanaspor in the final Turkish Lig 1 on Saturday.

Vladamir Koman put Eyup Arin‘s men a sixth minute lead from the spot before Souza drew level just three minutes later.

22 minutes later, Aatif Chahechouhe struck to give the Yellow Canaries the lead for the first time in the game.

Emenike, who came on as a 74th minute substitute for Moussa Sow, rounded off the victory with a goal on the stroke of fulltime.

The 30-year-old last saw the back of the net for his Turkish side in a topflight encounter against Konyaspor in October 2016.

The former West Ham forward finished the season with four goals from 16 league appearances.

Fenerbahce ended third in the Turkish topflight after garnering 64 points, 13 behind champions, Besiktas.

Fernarbache will participate in next season’s Uefa Europa League.
