Alvaro Morata looked to be in high spirits as he shook hands with Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko after his transfer to Chelsea was confirmed on Friday.
The 24-year-old Spain international signed a five-year contract with the Blues on Friday afternoon as he joined the west London side from Real Madrid.
Morata had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United for much of the summer but he ended up signing for Chelsea after the Red Devils opted to recruit Romelu Lukaku from Everton.
The Spain striker finally put pen to paper on his Chelsea contract on Friday and was shown around the club’s Cobham training ground with his wife Alice Campello.
And Morata was also introduced to Hazard and Bakayoko, who have remained in the UK as they continue their recoveries from injury while their team-mates continue their pre-season preparations in the far east.
Morata was pictured giving Bakayoko a hug and chatting to Hazard after his transfer to Chelsea was confirmed.
