Conte Gives Mourinho Conditions To Sign Matic

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has given a condition to his fellow counterpart Jose Mourinho on the signing of Nemanja Matic.

The signing of the defensive midfielder depends largely on the Blues ability to sign another midfielder who can be more be reliant in the midfield.

According to reports in England, Chelsea is close to signing Monaco starlet Tiemoue Bakayoko as reported by Daily Mail.

Conte wants to bring in another midfielder. The Italian manager will allow Matic's sale to United, only after Chelsea complete the second midfielder signing following Bakayoko's capture.

Matic displayed a brilliant form last season under Conte he was paired with N’Golo Kante in the heart of the midfield, he helped Chelsea clinch the League title and also got to the final of the FA Cup.

Chelsea is ready to transact business with the Old Trafford outfit only if they are ready to meet up with the current valuation of the player.

The Blues will be looking for a fee around £40m ($51.9m) from United for their star player. It is believed that Manchester United will be willing to meet the Blues' asking price for Matic.
However, with Conte wanting to sign a replacement for Matic before allowing him to leave could make it complicated for United.

Manchester United have already secured the services of Victor Lindelof, who arrived at Old Trafford from Benfica.

According to The Guardian reported that Matic is set to become the Red Devils' latest summer signing but now remain to be seen whether Chelsea will be looking to bring in a second midfielder this summer or allow the Serbian to join Mourinho's side following Bakayoko's imminent arrival.

Chelsea has been linked with a host of players this summer but yet to announce any official deal
