CAF Champions League: Late dramatic goal condemn Enyimba to defeat


 Mamelodi Sundowns defeated The People's elephant 2-1 in the CAF Champions League.



The match which went down at the  Lucas Moripe Stadium in Tshwane.

After Enyimba had lost to Zamalek 0-1 in Nigeria weeks ago, The NPFL side travelled to  face Sundowns.

Defensive error by Enyimba led to the first goal for Sundowns in the 42nd minutes by David Leonardo Castro Cortés.

In the second of the game, a stunning strike by Oluwadamilare Moses Ojo saw Enyimba grab the equaliser in the 59th minutes.

A controversial second goal for the Sundowns sealed the victory on the evening, after Wayne Arendse struck the ball in 78th minutes pass the Enyimba goal keeper Ocheje who claimed he had the ball covered.

But the lines raised his flag to referee points to the centre circle.
