Hulk arrived in China at the shanghai international airport as he was welcomed by over a thousand fans.
The Brazilian is set to complete a move to a club coached by Goran Eriksson for a record fee worth €58m (£48m).
Speaking to Sport Express, Russian club’s press officer, Dmitri Zimmerman said; “Zenit have reached a preliminary agreement with Shanghai SIPG concerning the transfer of Hulk, and on Wednesday the player will undergo a medical."
“Zenit will receive around €56m [£46.3m], while a further €2m [£1.7m] could be added to the total price.”
