Fire Out Break Kills Two Children While Asleep| PHOTOS

 Yesterday, tragedy struck in Ikot Usen, Ibiono Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State after a family who were beam cake sellers (Akara) lost two children due to fire out break.



The family identified as  Mr and Mrs Francis Ekanem were outside their home preparing for their business the next day by grinding their beans while their two children were in side sleeping.

According to our source, the children were lying on the mat and a candle was beside them. Suddenly the candle fell on the mat and the room was gazed by fire.

Mr and Mrs Francis were not aware at first as they were busying grinding beans to be used for bean cake. A neighbour came to alert them before they could rescue their children, the fire had burnt them.

Although, we gathered that police in the area are currently investigating the situation.
