Amakapabo delighted to end Rangers’ 32-year wait for NPFL title

The coach of Enugu Rangers, Imama Amakapabo, revealed his joy after he helped the Flying Antelopes to win their first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title after 32 years of waiting.
Rangers thrashed El Kanemi 4-0 at home on Sunday to lift the trophy for the 2015/2016 season.

“I thank God for this moment, for this day and for this feat,” the former Enyimba assistant coach told Complete sports

“We worked hard for it, from the beginning till the end, the players, my backroom staff, management, supporters and the people of Enugu State as well as the government.

“It was a collective effort and I’m happy that what has been lacking in the rich history of this great club in the last 32 years has been restored and we’re grateful to God.”
