
Yesterday, Police high command in Abuja apprehended two more suspects who where allegedly involved in the kidnap of 8 schoolgirls and staff of Nigeria Turkish International College, NTIC, Ogun State.
Recap that last month, schoolgirls and staff of Nigeria Turkish International College, NTIC, Ogun State were kidnapped.
It was learnt that the sum of N3 million was recovered from the latest suspects.
Alex Super, aka Yanga and Egbasimokumo Ayeomi, were arrested last Monday night at Majidun/Ajegunle Area of Ikorodu, Lagos state.
The ssuspecs confessed to the killing of Aisha Ali-Balogun.
The presenter of a popular comedy show, Stand Up Nigeria was killed last year December.
Ali-Balogun’s 2-year-old daughter and six others were abducted by the gunmen who paraded themselves in military uniforms in Ikorodu, shooting indiscriminately during the operation.
Six other suspects, which included a militant general Philip Joel, aka General Kakadu and a nurse, Felicia Weinoh, who was specialized in treating ailing victims and members of the kidnappers.
The suspects told Vanguard that they collected N2m each from the ransom paid for the release of the NTIC victims.
Super, who is 21 years old said he and members killed Alli-Balogun in 2016.
He said: “I am a native of Arogbo, Ondo State. We have 38 rifles in our den. Although, we all shot indiscriminately but the people at the front were the ones that killed people.
My gang leader, American, was the one who killed Alli-Balogun. He told us that when he stopped her car, she sped off and he shot her because she almost killed him with the car. That it was after killing her that he abducted her daughter. We're paid N500,000, before we released the 2–year-old girl.”
