
A Nigerian woman, Priscilla, gave birth to quadruplets in a UK hospital.
The 43 years old went into labour three months early after she landed at Heathrow airport in November, 2016.
It was learnt that She intended to give birth to the babies in Chicago, US, with her family, but changed of plans due to border officials.
The officials said she did not have required documents from a hospital revealing she had money to pay for the birth of her children.
Priscilla who is a healthcare worker, said she was returning to Nigeria when she started having contractions.
She was reportedly taken to the Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital in west London, where she delivered the four babies
360 GP gathered that one of the babies died shortly after birth while another, a girl, passed away on Saturday.
The other two, Elijah and Esther, are still being treated on the hospital’s neonatal intensive care ward in London.
According to a Staff estimate, the total bill due to her complex birth and the care of the babies is over £500,000.
Priscilla is currently staying at a hostel run by a charity.
Meanwhile, Priscilla's husband is in Nigeria.
