The young Joachim Low side have thrashed the El Tri 1 - 4 at the Sochi Stadium on Thursday.

Germany booked their place in the Confederations Cup final as Leon Goretzka scored twice in a devastating opening to Thursday’s 4-1 semi-final win over Mexico.

Attacking midfielder Goretzka got the goals on six and eight minutes. Meanwhile, Timo Werner and Amin Younes netted Germany’s second-half goals.

Germany will now play Chile in Sunday’s final in St Petersburg.
