Godin suffers sprained ankle ligament

Diego Godin of Atletico Madrid has suffered a sprained ankle ligament in their 1-0 Champions League win over Bayern Munich.Godin saw full 90 minutes action at the Vicente Calderon while in discomfort in his left ankle, 360 GP gathered.

According to an Atletico statement read: "Following a first examination from the medical services of the club, Diego Godin suffered a sprain of the lateral ligament of his left ankle.

"Additional tests will be performed in the next hours."
